The following is an email sent from a client of Margo's to her real estate agent, Tammy:

Hi Tammy,

I am sending you my mortgage brokers contact information as per our conversation yesterday afternoon; you will find it at the very end of this email. I wanted to highlight the experience I had with Margo in writing to further emphasize the reasoning behind my referral.

When I first contacted Margo about my mortgage I was at one of the lowest levels I think I ever have been at due to the extremely negative experience I had just been through. After I explained to her what happened she quickly reassured me that this was definitely something that could be rectified and she immediately corrected all the misinformation I had been given. By the end of our first conversation my spirits were lifted back up to where they were when the offer for the house was originally accepted.

Within minutes of the call ending Margo had already sent me an email with everything that would be excepted of my for this to be completed. She even included an estimate on what my mortgage payment would be. The information I received from her was more than I had received in the prior 2 months.

Even though it only took 3 business days to get the approval she kept me abreast of the situation every step of the way. The moment the approval came in she called me immediately; before she even had a chance to open the attachment! I was so happy I was crying and what amazed me most of all is that she was crying right along with me! She took this whole situation so personally it was like she was doing this for herself versus some stranger she had never even met.

To think of how defeated I felt (and looked!) just one week ago seems like eons ago because of how quickly Margo was able to turn that around and put a huge smile back on my face. I personally recommend you refer her to any of your clients as I am confident they will have just as great of an experience as I did. Her knowledge and customer service are at the levels that most brokers can only dream of someday achieving. She was able to single handedly change the experience I had with first time home ownership from being the most negative to the most exciting and positive experience I have ever had! This, I can guarantee, will be in my memory for years to come if not for the rest of my life.

Margo was referred to us in 2002 by a friend at work.  At the time, we were purchasing our second house.  For the first house, we went to each of our banks and got the run around.  We were told things like "you can't do that" and "this doesn't look good on a credit application".  We did get that mortgage after a fair amount of drama.  For our second deal, we went through Margo.  No drama, no muss, no fuss.  Just a nice, professional, respectful relationship (not at all like our relationship with the bank).

"In 2005, I was introduced to Margo Wynhofen at a community event. I wanted to buy myself a house but there were some interesting parameters to work with, like being selfemployed. Margo expediently found me a lender and arranged a mortgage with wonderful terms and conditions.

Now five years later, it was time to renew my mortgage but I wanted to increase the amount so that I could consolidate all my bills into one payment. Yet again there were some challenges and Margo shopped the market and found me a lender in a very short time.. Not only do I have a mortgage which will consolidate all my bills but with extremely favourable rates. I am certain that I could not have arranged such a mortgage simply because I do not have the resources available.
